Leavenworth Events 2009

Fall through winter is a very busy time in Leavenworth. Oktoberfest weekends, Tree Lighting, all the way to Ice Fest and a lot of events and activities in between. Include ski weekends and there are activities to do every weekend from Oct. 3rd well into February.

Make a day of it in Leavenworth! Visit shops, taste the wine, try meats and cheeses from around the world, ski at Ski Hill or slide down the snow covered banks in the park.

Enjoy the great outdoors in the Leavenworth Upper Valley. Go hiking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, snowmobiling or sleigh rides. Hit the slopes at Stevens Pass or ice fish on Fish Lake.

From Leavenworth to Plain in the Upper Valley there is a world of activities just waiting for you. Take advantage of the short drive to Plain, enjoy the scenery, watch for deer, elk, coyotes, raccoons and even fox from time to time.

Pamper yourself at a Bed and Breakfast with full gourmet breakfast, relax in the two person spa tub in your private suite, or rent a cabin and soak in the outdoor hot tub as you watch the snow fall.

Visit Leavenworth and the Upper Valley today!

    Sounds good!
    How do I get there?

Are you asking how to get to Leavenworth, Washington? Or Featherwinds Lodging? I suggest going to google maps and you can get a print out (map and directions) from your house to Leavenworth. If you are trying to get to Featherwinds, they have a map and written directions on their website. Their website is: www.featherwinds.com

We always come to the Leavenworth area to enjoy the fall colors, snow and nice people. Our friends live up in Plain and we always spend time there. Stayed at Featherwinds two winters ago and had a great time. People were very polite, food was out of this world and conversation was refreshing. Hope to return there again this year.
