Cascade Highway Loop, Leavenworth

The Cascade Highway Loop has long since been known as Washington State’s scenic wonder. For generations it has been traveled by families out to enjoy a “Sunday drive”. Many communities along the Cascade Loop have grown and have turned into tourist hotspots.

Leavenworth, WA is one of these communities which has transformed over time into what is today a Bavarian Village. The adventure to Leavenworth doesn’t stop at Leavenworth. A short drive from town brings you to the Upper Valley of Plain, Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake and numerous peaks and ridges. The Upper Valley is home to some of many Washington State’s most beautiful scenery accompanied with wild life of all types.

we drive the cascade loop several times during the summer and absolutely love it. we always spend a day or two in the north and a day or two in or around leavenworth, but always in a bed and breakfast. great town and area. love the scenery up by lake wenatchee.
